Made in Manchester Festival proves a huge hit with live music lovers

MUSIC lovers enjoyed a festival atmosphere as Made in Manchester returned on Saturday.

The event, which featured some of the UK's best tribute bands, attracted more than 1,000 people.

Following the 'fantastic' feedback from those who attended, organiser Robert Brierley is hoping to make the concert an annual event.

He said: " People have been saying they have been crying our for an event like this and from the response I have had I'm looking to make it an annual event.

"The people have Bolton have been absolutely fantastic and hopefully have had a really good time. People have wanted to get out after lockdown and have some family time.

"There has been something for everyone of all ages."

And the plan is to grow the "family orientated music event" next year and double the audience.
