BARCA, REAL AND JUVE GET SUPER LEAGUE BOOST

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus will renew their European Super League plans after a court threw out disciplinary action against the 12 founding clubs.

A Madrid court decided Uefa must scrap proceedings â€" until the European Court of Justice makes a ruling.

Nine clubs were penalised â€" Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

Uefa fined them each about £7m and five per cent of their prize money.

The Super League plans collapsed within days after a huge outcry from fans, other clubs, politicians and football bodies.

Now, though, the nine clubs have had their penalties removed â€" at least for now.

And action against the ESL’s remaining supporters â€" Barca, Juve and Madrid â€" must also be halted.
